PUZZIBLY
Delete Your Puzzibly Data
This page explains how to ask for your data in Puzzibly (the puzzle game by iota on Google Play and the App Store) to be deleted. Puzzibly has no accounts, so your data is found by your game ID.
Steps
- Open Puzzibly and go to Settings > About.
- Next to Game ID, tap Copy.
- Email privacy@puzzibly.com with the subject "Delete my data" and paste your game ID into the message.
- We delete your data within 30 days and reply to tell you when it is done.
If you can't open the app any more, email us anyway and tell us what you remember (for example your player name), and we'll do our best to find your data.
What we delete
From our game server and database:
- your game results, puzzle history and stats
- your Ranked ratings, season standings and region
- your badges
- your player name and supporter badge
- your notification token
- your phone's secret key (used to check that requests come from your phone)
- the puzzle and player-name reports you sent
- Premium codes you redeemed
We also ask PostHog, our analytics provider, to delete the match events stored with your game ID.
Groups you own pass to the member who has been in them longest, or close if you are the only member.
What we keep, and for how long
- Purchase records: kept for 5 years after the purchase, because tax rules require them, then deleted. Google Play and the App Store also keep their own records of your purchases under their own policies.
- Usage statistics: these are stored under a random analytics ID that we can't link to your game ID, so we can't find them. PostHog deletes them after one year.
- Crash reports: these contain no game ID. Sentry deletes them after 90 days.
Data on your phone
Your progress, coins, cosmetics, settings and other data stored on your phone are deleted when you uninstall the app.
See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
